Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

One time, I was driving through an unfamiliar area when I accidentally turned into a one-way street going in the wrong direction. It all happened so quickly that I didn’t realise my mistake until a pedestrian began waving at me.

When I realised what I had done, I felt a bit nervous. My mind raced about potential accidents or a traffic officer suddenly appearing. Thankfully, the pedestrian calmly pointed me in the right direction, and I quickly corrected my path.

It’s a relief to know there are kind strangers willing to help in moments like that. What could have been a stressful or embarrassing situation turned into a moment of gratitude.

This experience taught me to be more mindful on the road, especially in new areas. It also reminded me of the power of small acts of kindness—sometimes, they’re all I need to stay safe
