What are you doing this evening?

Last evening, I was surrounded by the calm beauty of Kerala. It was my second night of a two-week holiday, staying near green cardamom fields and a spice shop run by my host, a kind and gentle lady. She made me feel at home, like part of her family, with her warmth and care. Every little detail of my stay felt special because of her thoughtfulness.
A light drizzle fell, soft and steady, cooling the air. I spent the evening on a sheltered verandah, reading and listening to the rain. The air was filled with the sweet smell of spices, and the peacefulness made the evening feel almost magical. My host’s kindness made it even more memorable.
Sometimes, quiet evenings and small acts of kindness turn ordinary moments into lasting memories.
