A major red flag for me is dishonesty, mainly when a straightforward appearance covers it up. It’s unsettling when someone claims to be open and honest, but their actions show something completely different. This mismatch between what they say and what they do creates confusion and makes it hard to trust them.

Trust is the foundation of any meaningful relationship, and when someone’s honesty is in question, that foundation becomes shaky. Connecting with someone is difficult when you’re unsure of their real intentions. Actions always speak louder than words; when those two don’t match up, it can feel like manipulation or a lack of sincerity.

In my opinion, being truthful and consistent is essential. When your words and actions line up, it shows who you are. Without that, it’s hard to build genuine connections. So, when someone claims to be direct but behaves differently, that’s a clear red flag for me.
