The Profession I Admire the Most: Healthcare Workers

What profession do you admire most and why?

Caring with Compassion:

I used to work as a healthcare assistant, and I deeply admire those who care for others. My experience, especially in palliative care, delirium care, and dementia care, showed me how challenging and rewarding this job can be.

The Heart of Hospital Work:

If you’ve never been in a hospital, that’s great. But for those who work there, they see people at their most vulnerable, which often makes them more humble and kind-hearted.

Facing Big Challenges:

Healthcare workers who care for people in their final days or those with memory issues face enormous challenges. Palliative care isn’t just about easing pain but comforting and supporting patients and their families.

Making a Real Difference:

This work is challenging, both physically and emotionally, but it’s significant. Providing peace and comfort to someone at the end of their life or helping someone through confusion requires skills, compassion, and strength.

A Special Salute to Nurses:

I salute nurses, especially. They are truely angels who bring comfort and care to those who need it most. Their hard work and kindness are truly unique.
