Beach or mountains? Which do you prefer? Why?

If I had to choose between the beach and the mountains, my heart would always turn to the mountains. Although poets find symbols of freedom and change in the endless waves of the sea, mountains carry more profound spiritual weight. Mountains are tall, unchanging, and stoic giants that offer refuge and contact with the infinite.
Growing up near the Western Ghats, I’ve always found comfort in their quiet strength and timeless beauty. They remind me of home and the resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges. The Himalayas, too, hold a sacred place in people’s hearts, shaping their beliefs and inspiring a profound connection to nature.
While the beach may stir creativity, the mountains give me peace and purpose. How about the calm of the peaks or the rhythm of the waves?
