What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?

In a world that often feels progressively fast, one little item has remained constant: an old, wind-up alarm clock. It has travelled with me through several relocations, quietly finding its spot on each new bedside table- a humble reminder of a bygone era.

It sits in silence most days, but once a week, I pick it up, wind it, and let its steady tick-tock fill the room. There’s a grounding comfort in that sound- a reminder of continuity. Unlike all digital devices, this timepiece asks for absolutely nothing; it simply marks the time, becoming a companion through new beginnings, quiet nights, and everything in between.

For me, it’s more than a clock; it’s a reminder of resilience and stability. It reminds me that even as everything else changes, some things can remain timeless, no matter how minute.
