What was your favorite subject in school?

School days remind me of when physical training was my favourite subject. It was time out of the classroom and an opportunity for me to get out and be free. But those moments were extraordinary spent playing kabaddi, a game that tested my strength and nerves.

Stepping onto the opponent’s side during a match was intense, for the players on the other side were strong, and I often felt excited yet scared. Holding my breath while raiding was tough. Each second felt longer as I moved fast, trying to tag somebody and make it back safely; my heart was pounding, and my lungs were burning, but it was exciting.

There was always an equal chance of winning or losing, making it even more thrilling. Winning brought pride, while even in defeat, I learned to get up and face the coming challenges with great courage. Every played game would help build my confidence in facing life and fighting out its challenges.

Kabaddi and physical training were a lot more than mere activities; they were experiences that taught me life and gave me memories that would last a lifetime.
