Something about the idea of a world tour has always fascinated me. Visiting new countries, diving into diversified cultures, tasting foods I have only heard about, and meeting people from all walks of life- the thrill of discovering the unknown is incredible.

But I would not want to take this risk and venture off on this great big adventure, something for which I am not quite ready to set off. Right now, my family is in need, and foremost, as my priority, I will make it a point to support them in the best way possible, to be there for them. My love for adventure can be strong, but not quite as strong as my love and commitment to one’s family.

That doesn’t mean the dream is gone, though. I have learned that some risks are worth waiting for, and when the time is right, I’ll be ready to pack my bags and set off. Until then, I keep dreaming, planning, and preparing for the day when I can make this dream a reality.
